ASIC has launched a refreshed Companies Register search service which will operate as a public beta release alongside ASIC Connect while further enhancements are made. The initial release will enable users to search for a company, view company summary information, including a list of lodge documents, and check the availability of a company name.
The search results include clearer company profile that outlines basic information such as registration status, ACN/ABN and next annual review date.
In December 2026, the public beta service will be expanded to include the ability to purchase and copies of lodge documents.
