Melbourne Farmers Markets is looking for more stallholders!
Our farmers markets are a great way to bring your produce or products direct to urban consumers. Through attending markets regularly, local customer bases are developed, communities built, and collaborative opportunities with fellow stallholders fostered.
Our markets are first and foremost a place for Victorian farmers to sell their produce. Speciality makers are expected to source their ingredients from Victorian farmers or primary producers.
A few things you'll need to consider include:
- All our markets are accredited with the Victorian Farmers Market Association and is a condition of stallholders Get Accredited
- You will need public liability insurance, Streatrader Registration and a Statement of Trade for each market
- Market equipment: stallholders are required to bring all their own equipment such as 3x3m marquee, marquee weights, table, display set ups and plus cash tin and float and/or eftpos. VFMA members regularly have access to discounts for marquee providers.
