On Tuesday, 17 June 2025, the Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA) will host its inaugural Business for Good Lunch in Picton—a new initiative aimed at supporting and growing the social enterprise movement across regional NSW.
Taking place at Worklife Picton, a collaborative hub for purpose-led professionals, this lunch event invites social entrepreneurs, government representatives, sustainability advocates, and curious community members to come together for conversation, connection and collective impact.
What to Expect
Hosted by SECNA CEO Kylie Flament and local SECNA champion Kate Dezarnaulds, the lunch will feature:
-
A welcome and update on the social enterprise sector from SECNA
-
A community “asks and offers” session where attendees can introduce themselves and share a request or resource with the group
-
Casual networking over a catered lunch, with a chance to meet fellow changemakers from the region
Attendees might share anything from “we’re looking for a social enterprise partner to manage events” to “we have experience in ethical sourcing and are happy to collaborate.” It’s all about building momentum and connections that support doing business with purpose.

The event is open to everyone, but will be especially valuable for:
