On Tuesday 18 November, SECNA hosted Find Your People – Rural & Regional Social Enterprises, a relaxed roundtable for social entrepreneurs based outside Sydney and Canberra. The event ran for one hour online, geared toward those doing “business for good” in regional and rural NSW & ACT.
Participants were invited to share their current projects, hear from others’ experiences, exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations — all without a formal agenda. The format was intentionally informal to encourage open conversation, connection, and peer support.
For social enterprises, B Corps, charities and nonprofits operating in non-metro areas, events like this are vital. They provide access to peer networks, reduce isolation, and create space to learn, adapt and grow together.
Missed it? Keep an eye on SECNA’s events calendar — they regularly host “Find Your People” sessions across different themes to bring the social enterprise community closer together.
