Connecting women in Social Enterprise for Strength & Purpose.


On Thursday 13 November, the Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA) held an online Power Hour exclusively for women in social enterprise.

This one-hour session was designed as an opportunity to connect, share and support among women founders and leaders in mission-driven work.

Participants are invited to:

  1. Meet and network with fellow female social entrepreneurs
  2. Share insights about their projects and progress
  3. Offer and request support, exchanging asks and offers in the spirit of collaboration
  4. Hosted entirely online, the format was intentionally informal to encourage conversation and relationship building.


For any social enterprise, B Corps, charity or nonprofit, gatherings like this are more than networking — they help build resilience, spark new ideas, strengthen peer support, and deepen connections across the sector.
