Share the Love in Melbourne!

brandkind is officially in Melbourne! And to celebrate, we are inviting you to share the love- and the brandkind warmth - on a beautiful winter’s evening this July. With a cocktail or hot chocolate in hand and some tasty Mexican treats, you won’t feel the cold and instead be warmed by the buzz of social enterprises seeking ‘branding love’ as they pair up with marketing professionals to create a better impact!

Be a part of the cosy, fun- filled night that sparks something special for social enterprise brands, branding and marketing professionals and those who believe and support in a future where businesses are for people and planet, as much as for profit (that means you, our sector supporters, intermediaries and partners). Whether you are already a part of the brandkind community or are keen to explore opportunities, you are more than welcome!

What to expect?

  • Learn what's new in branding for good!
  • Meet your match in our trademark “Share the Love” Speed Dating event
  • Hear from leading social enterprises and how branding has helped in their success
  • Delight in bespoke brandkind cocktails featuring our OG social enterprise, Auntys Ginger Tonic and other food and drinks, courtesy of our generous sponsors, Mad Mex, Campari & Heaps Normal (with more coming!)

Special thanks to Canva in Melbourne for their glorious space!

Featured Speakers:

Jack Howes | Head of Funding & Partnerships @ Homie

Jack Howes, the Head of Funding and Partnerships at HoMie, a fashion label  and charity where 100% of our profits go towards achieving our mission in supporting young people affected by homelessness or hardship. Hear how they’ve raised funds through the power of marketing (and beautifully designed hoodies and trackies!)

Hedayat (Nick) Osyan | Founder of CommUnity Construction

Hedayat (Nick) Osyan is an ex-refugee from Afghanistan and now a social entrepreneur, inspirational speaker and is a recipient of multiple awards, most recently the Les Murray Award for his many achievements and commitment to providing work for a vulnerable community that needed a trusted partner to help them build pathways for their careers and livelihoods.

Desiring to empower fellow refugees, he founded CommUnity Construction in 2018, a social enterprise whose mission is “building homes, building lives”. Hear how he transformed ‘Nick Tiling’ into a successful brand (and how his measure of success is having 3 of his ex-trainee refugees now own their own construction businesses!)
