CheckUP in collaboration with Everywhen Workforce are hosting a breakfast event to support Indigenous Business Month. Join us, with successful Queensland First Nations businesses as we come together to explore how we can collectively strengthen First Nations workforce and businesses.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses bring in over $4.5billion to the economy annually providing access and opportunity to wealth creation, skills development and self-determined communities and sectors. As one of the fastest growing sectors Nationally, their potential economic power and impact is undeniable.
This breakfast will provide an opportunity for key leaders and businesses to connect with each other to discuss the key enablers to investment, growth and capacity building. Participants will have a chance to ask questions regarding Workforce development and growth.
You will hear from the CheckUP team and a panel of subject matter experts on key issues facing Indigenous businesses, including:
- Why Indigenous-owned businesses are key to closing the employment gap?
- What are the workforce barriers for small and medium businesses?
