Building Sustainable Employment Pathways Through Social Enterprise

Join QSEC for The Revenue Reset: Building Sustainable Employment Pathways Through Social Enterprise on Tuesday, 15 September from 8:30am to 2.30pm at the University of Queensland, Brisbane City - a half-day forum exploring how the mental health and alcohol and other drug community sectors can strengthen impact through sustainable, employment-focused approaches. As demand grows and funding environments evolve, the symposium will examine how meaningful employment can be embedded as a core pathway to recovery, wellbeing and social inclusion.

Bringing together sector leaders, government representatives and people with lived experience, the event will highlight how social enterprise can complement essential public funding by creating intentional, paid employment opportunities alongside service delivery.

Through practical insights, real Queensland-based case studies, attendees will gain a clearer understanding of what it takes to design and implement employment-focused enterprise models. The program is designed to move beyond theory—equipping participants with the confidence, connections and actionable next steps needed to explore these approaches within their own organisations.

Tickets are complimentary.
