This Tea and Buns will discuss how ChatGTP and other AI software is being used by grant seekers and writers. Some people think AI is set to revolutionise the way grant writers improve their grant writing, and can help fundraisers to do more, with less effort. Other people are concerned about the implications, and feel grant writers are going to rely on insufficient and inaccurate information, with harmful consequences for both grant seekers and grant makers.
Are fundraisers already using ChatGPT? Yes they are. So what do you need to know?!
Dr Ruth Knight will be chatting with Harriett Carter from Strategic Grants and learning what their team of specialist grant writers are doing, and advising the nonprofit organisations they work with.
Harriet is a senior communication and engagement specialist with a passion for communication and grant writing. Strategic Grants work with hundreds of organisations each year helping them to develop a strategic approach to their grant-seeking activity.

WHAT IS TEA AND BUNS?
The name Tea and Buns is from a quote in The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame “Come along inside…we’ll see if tea and buns can make the world a better place”. Tea & Buns creates an opportunity to learn from each other, discuss the latest research and how we might apply research to our work. The webinar is online, free and gives you access to a vibrant network of like-minded people, including researchers at QUT. Each month we tackle topical leadership questions. These topics are guided by the news, and what YOU want to talk about. We do promise to provide a safe place to chat where you can tap into the insight, research and experiences of many people in the sector.
