2022 marks 25 years since WPI was founded by women for women. In those 25 years, WPI has grown from initially developing 11 homes in Melbourne’s west, to owning 105 homes accommodating more than 250 women and children. We have a further 15 homes under construction.
On 16 June, WPI will be holding a 25th Anniversary Fundraising Gala in the beautiful Ian Potter Queen’s Hall at the State Library of Victoria. This milestone event will be an opportunity to celebrate our recent achievements, and at the same time, launch our campaign to deliver 25 new homes for women and children over the next three years. There will be silent & live auctions on the night to kick-start our campaign. The event will be a stand-up function with drinks & canapes served throughout the evening.
Our special guest speaker for the evening will be City of Melbourne, Lord Mayor, Sally Capp and our MC will be the hilarious Geraldine Hickey.
