About the InGrained Foundation
The inGrained Foundation is a national not-for-profit based in the Northern Rivers of NSW. Established by local independent brewery Stone & Wood in 2018, the inGrained Foundation supports grassroots environmental and social charities in the local areas where Stone & Wood and its affiliated companies operate. By fostering long term partnerships and responding to urgent situations of need, we aim to create sustained positive change by directing funds to support our community where and when it’s needed
About the Grant
With a funding pool of $200,000, we invite local social and environmental not-for-profits (with DGR status) to apply for a grant between $5,000 and $30,000.
We will be providing grants to fund projects and initiatives that impact the following social and environmental areas of need in our community:
- Conservation of natural resources and habitats
- Action on climate change
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Accommodation and homelessness
- Inclusion and diversity
We are seeking to support projects that fall into the following categories:
To be successful, applicants must operate within one of these categories and be able to provide information on how the inGrained funds will have a tangible outcome for the community.
Applications open Monday 3rd April and close Friday 28 April 2023
Eligibility
For 2022, applicants must:
• Be a not-for-profit with DGR status, or be in partnership with a DGR status organisation with an auspicing agreement with the applicant
• Implement the project in the Northern Rivers region
• Address one of the five target categories
• Develop a distinct project with milestones and outcomes. Project completion must be before 30th June 2024
• Complete and submit the application and accompanying documentation by 5pm,28th April 2023
