Council's Community Investment Funding - subsidies now open (invitation only)
Council supports a number of organisations to deliver services and programs across the Mornington Peninsula. Subsidy applications opened on 13 July 2023 via invitation only and close on 7 September 2023.

Performing Arts Development Grant

| Pitch Sessions |
Pitch sessions will be held approximately two months prior to the bi-monthly closing date for applications. This will include a short presentation on the guidelines and information on writing a compelling grant application. Applicants will be divided into groups to meet with a peer/panel member for further discussion of the process. Applicants must individually 'pitch' their project idea to a panel member who will score proposals in an assessment rubric to determine eligible projects. Potential applicants will be invited to apply within two weeks of the information session, with a link to the application form included in the email notification. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified they will not progress to a full application. This process will assist to clarify eligibility and objectives and invite quality applications from a diversity of artists proposing innovative, inter-cultural performance projects spanning a range of forms, styles, audiences, and cultural contexts. There is no upper limit to the amount of funding that can be applied for via this program, however, the level of assistance available is limited by Council’s budget allocation and its priorities. Grant requests over $30,000 will be required to meet with the Assessment Panel. No applicant can be guaranteed funding, nor can any applicant be guaranteed to receive the full requested amount; however officers will assist applicants to ensure that the funding request is commensurate to project viability. |
