WorkSafe Victoria is now inviting applications for its WorkWell Mental Health Industry Trials Grants, a major funding opportunity designed to support large-scale, systems-level initiatives that improve psychological health and safety in workplaces across Victoria.
With up to $1.76 million available per project, this grant round offers a unique opportunity for organisations to lead meaningful, evidence-based change in industries facing the highest rates of workplace mental injuries.
What Is the WorkWell Industry Trials Program?
The WorkWell Mental Health Industry Trials form a key part of WorkSafe’s mission to prevent mental injury and promote positive mental health outcomes in the workplace. The program delivers on Recommendation 16(2) from the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System and aligns with WorkSafe’s broader strategic imperatives to create safer, healthier working environments.
Each trial must be led by a consortium, including:
-
A lead organisation (grant applicant),
-
Subject matter experts,
-
An external evaluation partner,
-
Industry or sector bodies,
-
Union representatives where applicable.
Successful projects will be funded for up to three years.
