Impact Seed New Executive Leadership Team
Western Australian social enterprise builder Impact Seed has announced a significant leadership transition as it enters its second decade of operation. Co-founders Kylie Hansen and Sven Stenvers will step back from day-to-day operations from July 2025, with the appointment of two new Executive Directors to guide the organisation’s next phase of growth.
Incoming leaders Chuck Berger and Steph Shorter bring a wealth of experience across social impact, enterprise development, sustainability, and investment.
Chuck Berger will take on responsibility for operational leadership, Board reporting, and market-building activities in impact investment and enterprise development.
Steph Shorter will lead the Impact Advisory practice, focusing on strategy development, sustainability, social impact evaluation, and outcomes measurement.
The appointments mark a new chapter for Impact Seed, which has played a leading role in developing WA’s impact ecosystem since 2015.
Hansen and Stenvers, who have led the organisation for ten years, will remain active in governance roles. Both will continue to serve on the Board, with Sven Stenvers joining Chandra Sundareswaran as Co-Chair.
The Board of Impact Seed expressed full confidence in the new leadership team and extended thanks to the founders for their decade of service to the sector.
“With a capable and experienced management team and strong Board in place, we’re excited about the organisation’s next phase of growth,” said the Board in a joint statement.
