Plastic Free July: Workplace Habits

This Plastic Free July, we encourage organisations to take a closer look at their own workplace habits.

Plastic Free July: Workplace Habits

Plastic Free July is a reminder that small actions, when adopted consistently, can create meaningful change.

At Greatest Good, we believe sustainability starts with the choices we make every day. That's why we're committed to reducing waste in our workplace by correctly separating recyclables, general waste and green waste, and eliminating single-use plastics from our office kitchen.

Instead, our small team uses ceramic and stainless-steel keep cups and mugs, reusable drink bottles, and stainless-steel cutlery. Simple swaps that help reduce unnecessary waste and keep plastics out of landfill and our environment.

The impact of these actions goes beyond our office walls. By reducing demand for single-use plastics and improving waste management practices, businesses can help conserve resources, lower emissions associated with manufacturing and disposal, and contribute to cleaner communities and healthier ecosystems.

This Plastic Free July, we encourage organisations to take a closer look at their own workplace habits:

* Conduct an office bin audit
* Ensure waste is being recycled and composted correctly
* Replace single-use plastics with reusable alternatives
* Empower colleagues to make sustainable choices every day

Creating a more sustainable future doesn't require perfection; it starts with progress. Every reusable cup, every correctly sorted item, and every conscious choice adds up.
