Their strategic plan outlines how Frankston Social Enterprise and Innovation Hub will deliver on its theory of change in coming years. Including taking action that will help drive positive social, economic and environmental change across our region.

Over the past few months, the Hub has met with social enterprises, government, businesses and individuals to develop a strategy that not only reflects our core values but also addresses how we can deliver on our vision and mission.

The new Strategic Plan is built on six key pillars:

  • Enabling impact collectively – supporting and encouraging social enterprise in our region.
  • Growth – Growing our community, engagement and participation
  • Capability and culture – Strengthening business for good capabilities and a shared culture of respect and equality
  • Advocacy and influence – Providing a voice for social enterprise and demonstrating evidence-based impact.
  • Fresh thinking – Inspiring creativity and questioning traditional ways of approaching community challenges and opportunities.
  • Partnerships and alliances – Partnering with the social enterprise and local ecosystems to achieve collective goals.

They have a new name to go along with our new strategic plan ‘Frankston Social Enterprise & Innovation Hub’. Why innovation? To acknowledge the role innovation plays in contributing to positive social and environmental change.
