White Box Enterprises’ Financial Wellbeing Program will continue for another two years, thanks to renewed support from the Ecstra Foundation.
Originally developed as the first bespoke financial wellbeing program designed specifically with jobs-focused social enterprises, the program is now expanding to support a broader range of social enterprises, not-for-profits and employment-focused organisations, at no cost.
The expansion builds on the success of our 2023–2025 pilot, independently evaluated by CSI Swinburne and found to have met all its goals.
The results speak for themselves:
- 86% of participants improved their confidence managing money
- 95% improved their understanding of how to access financial help
- 91% reported significant new learnings
- 100% found the training understandable
The real impact is best seen in the experiences of participants. Jacob, a crew member at YMCA ReBuild, used the training to reduce a $9,000 debt to just $200. Chris at Joii lodged his first tax return through myGov and used his refund to purchase a second-hand car.
These are practical changes that can make a lasting difference.
Over the next two years, White Box look forward to helping more organisations embed practical, tailored financial wellbeing support into the way they work, helping people build confidence, reduce financial stress and take greater control of their financial futures.
