About The Role
SisterWorks provides a small business mentoring program to the most vulnerable women with little English of refugee and migrant backgrounds, these women are known as “Sisters”.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Following the SisterWorks Small Business Guide
- Designing educational materials specifically tailored to the Sisters
- Assess Sisters progress and development
- Utilise video contents and resources on the SisterWorks E-hub app
- Report to the Small Business Lead about sessions with the Sisters
- Share any materials and resources to the Small Business Lead presented to the Sisters for integration to the program
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree or certificate in business, marketing, food business or any relevant field and a 1 year or professional experience in a related field
- Knowledge in digital marketing, e-commerce or business management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the experiences for women with different backgrounds living in an Australian context and demonstrated ability to communicate and work with people from migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds
- Digital skills working with Microsoft Office, Google Apps and experience using online training platforms
- Experience and passion in leading and working with women from migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds
- Small business owners and business and entrepreneurship students are most welcomed to apply
Time required
Minimum 40 hours for the 6 months, flexible hours
Commitment
Regular - less than 6 months
