Campaign & Donor Relationship Coordinator

The Opportunity:
We have exclusively partnered with a not-for-profit organisation based in Melbourne whose mission is to contribute to the safety and wellbeing of all road and transportation users. Our client not only provides free counselling support to victims and families of road trauma, but also delivers a range of education programs that aim to reduce incidences of collisions, injuries, and fatalities.

Working closely with the CEO and Marketing Coordinator, this strategic position is responsible for leading the planning and execution of existing fundraising campaigns, as well as expanding the organisation’s donor base. The result of your efforts will help the organisation maximise donor engagement which will continue to provide much needed support, education, counselling, and programs that benefit the lives of people in our community impacted either directly or indirectly by road trauma.

You have exceptional relationship skills and have experience managing or coordinating events either in the public, corporate or fundraising sector.

This role requires you to:

• Continuously improve the performance and participation of each fundraising campaign
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of a fundraising event from beginning to end
• Act as the main contact person for external suppliers, attendees, and sponsors for each event
• Nurture existing donor relationships and develop opportunities to partner with corporate companies
• Work closely with the CEO to create new community and corporate fundraising initiatives
• Contribute your ideas to plan and implement an appropriate donor journey

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Tertiary education or professional experience either in Fundraising, Business Administration, Sales/Business Development, or related field
• Previous experience either working in a fundraising related role, liaising with donors in person and over the phone at a minimum, or previous experience in a relationship management role that required securing new clients or customers
• Experience coordinating, planning, and managing fundraising events, however corporate or public events will also be looked upon favourably
• Experience working with members of the public in a community engagement setting, either in a volunteering or employment capacity (desirable)
• Experience working in a Not For Profit either as an employee or volunteer
• An ability to show empathy and compassion for people who have been affected by road trauma

In addition, you will be required to undertake a Police Check and Working with Children’s Check. You must also hold a valid Victorian Driver’s License.

The Offer: This is a part-time position offered at 4 days per week and is based in Melbourne. Flexible working options are available. This role is paying up to $88K + Super pro-rata, plus the maximum amount of NFP salary packaging (commensurate with experience).
