Chair NSW State Management Committee
Organisation Name : Housing All Australians

Housing All Australians (HAA) was established in 2019 as a ‘for purpose’ organisation (and registered charity), to facilitate a private sector voice, and re-position the discussion and action on social and affordable housing for those on low to very low incomes.

About the role

Reporting to the HAA Board, the NSW State Management Committee will act as an ambassador to:

  1. Operationalise the national strategy.
  2. Run state fundraising events to raise the profile and promote the work of HAA.
  3. Build out the committee with outstanding individuals.
  4. Identify and nurture potential sponsors.
  5. Identify and nurture potential pro bono contributors.
  6. Identify potential locations and venues for pop up housing developments and short-medium- or long-term housing options.
  7. Liaise with local government.
  8. Build a database of potential sponsors, pro bono contributors, building owners and developers that can be leveraged at a State and National level.

This is a key leadership role responsible for building and galvanizing the NSW State Management Committee to contribute to HAA’s strategic priorities.  Experience working in the housing sector, such as property development, project management, real estate, and infrastructure development with a deep understanding of the current state of the housing market in Australia would be beneficial.  Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships with the private sector and community organisations will be critical to success. If you are well-connected and understand the intergenerational problem of not providing housing and enjoy a hands-on opportunity, then this role is for you.
