There is now a fantastic opportunity for a talented Corporate and Community Manager to join the team from 2023.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager Philanthropy and Partnerships, the Corporate and Community Manager plays a key role in connecting the corporate and community sectors with MCM’s strategic and operational services plan. Working alongside the services teams, the Corporate and Community Manager will be instrumental in generating maximum income to enable MCM to deliver vital services to the community through a range of revenue streams.

Brand awareness is key, and the Corporate and Community Manager will also collaborate with the Philanthropic and Marketing team to ensure MCM brand is highly visible to prospective corporate partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to developing and nurturing corporate and community partnerships, this role is also responsible for the following:

  • In collaboration with the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, develop the corporate and community roadmap aligned with MCM’s strategic plan and fundraising strategy.
  • Identify and develop key business priorities from the corporate, business and community sectors to deliver income targets
  • Drive corporate engagement including sponsorship, gifts in kind and participants for MCM’s signature event Sleep at the ‘G
  • Build long term relationships with corporations, businesses, influencers, schools, sporting and service clubs to grow fundraising income and brand awareness
  • Research and write impact reports and maintain accurate data in the CRM

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To become a valued member of this high performing MCM team, you will have the following:

  • Qualification in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in corporate and/or for purpose sector.
  • Strong proven business acumen including ability to conduct partnership research, due diligence and values alignment.
  • Exceptional relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A proven track record in developing and nurturing long term financially lucrative corporate and community partnerships.
  • Experience aligning organizational objectives with the interests of prospective partners
  • Experience using a donor management system and the ability to evaluate data
  • The ability to develop and write successful corporate funding communications including reporting and proposals
