Embarking on our new five-year strategy, we are currently seeking a Corporate Services Support Officer (CSSO), Brisbane to join our growing team. Reporting to the Office Manager and working with a dedicated and passionate team in this pivotal role you will contribute to The Smith Family’s vision.

ABOUT OUR ROLE

You will be responsible for:

  • Accurately code and process invoices, ensuring proper authorisation, within weekly deadline
  • Reconcile corporate credit cards for Managers, ensuring appropriate authorisations
  • Ensure Travel & General Expenses claim forms are completed according to procedures manual and appropriately authorised; email to Accounts Payable on weekly basis
  • Process and prepare cash payments and cash receipts spreadsheets and Brisbane Journals and forward to National Office every month as directed
  • Train and direct volunteers to accomplish tasks
  • Make travel and accommodation bookings for staff as requested, ensuring correct forms and completed and authorised, in accordance with TSF Travel policy
  • Support National projects as part of the CS Team’s work with nationwide teams
  • Organise catering and other requirements for meetings/conferences and other functions as required
  • Ensure all donations are receipted and appropriate forms completed and forwarded to National Office in accordance with TSF audit requirements
  • Troubleshoot IT problems and work with National staff to fix network/printer/computer issues
  • Be part of and support the nationwide CS Teams work together

ABOUT YOU

As well as passion for community, we are looking for the following requirements:

  • Experiences on basic financial accounting and administrative processes
  • Intermediate or advanced skills of Microsoft Suite programs, including but not limited to Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience of working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • A very well developed attention to detail
  • A flexible and willing attitude to embracing change and undertaking new challenges
  • Exposure to project work would be advantageous
