The Social Enterprise Council of NSW and ACT is a sector-led peak body that exists to: Raise social enterprise awareness and understanding, build a connected social enterprise ecosystem, secure investment and policy change for the sector, and ultimately, be an organisation that can sustain and grow our impact.

This role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative Digital Comms Lead to join our passionate team. You’ll have a combination of social media and digital event expertise to increase communication, engagement and the overall profile of the social enterprise sector.
- Drive awareness and conversion of SECNA membership through social media and other comms channels
- Develop a content calendar for our social media channels and newsletter to leverage trends, industry professionals and influencers to engage the social enterprise community
- Develop and curate engaging content for our website, eDMs, social media platforms
- Create monthly insight reports and keep track of KPIs to analyze content performance across the SECNA community
- Support events (online and in-person) and create user-generated content
Success metrics
- Increase in SECNA membership
- Increase in engagement metrics (followers, website traffic, subscribers)
- Quality and insightful reporting (monthly)
We’d love it if you had
- A least 3 years experience in an organic / user generated content social media strategy and execution
- Effective communication between colleagues
- Experience in photography and video content for social media
- Experience in article writing/blogging for website and newsletter content
- Experience in managing online communities to drive engagement
- Expert knowledge of social media networks, and how best to leverage them to create passionate communities
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities whilst delivering quality and timely content
