The purpose of the Family Practitioner is to provide intensive therapeutic services to children, young people and their families with serious and/or complex mental health, behavioral and/or emotional needs to maximize their developmental potential. You will deliver the evidence-based model for families of children aged 0-17 years within the family's home environment.
Travel is an absolute requirement of this role as you will cover several regions. Comprehensive training in this evidence-based model will be provided to the successful candidate and ongoing intensive support.

As a Family Practitioner you will be delivering Functional Family Therapy working with young people aged between 0-17 and their families in their homes
Who we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Family Therapy, Psychology or community services /mental health
- Previous experience in a therapeutic environment, or a new graduate with a willingness to learn and thrive in this role
- Knowledge & experience working within the out of home care sector would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills & the ability to build relationships and rapport with families and young people
