We’re looking for a ‘Keeper of the Produce' champion - someone who will be a legend in looking after the produce, receiving and picking up farm deliveries, keeping track of quality and inventory, and communicating all things produce back to the sales teams, packing teams and farmers.
This is a leadership role within Food Connect, for an enthusiastic and diligent warehouse and cold room maestro to assist with all aspects of local farm to table aggregation, stock management, logistics and distribution. You'll lead the receiving, storing and packing of our produce and products, working closely with with our farmer liaison and the sales team, and oversee the packing/box curation team.

About the role (key duties include)
- Coordinate receivals, storage, packing and dispatch of orders
- Liaise with procurement and sales teams to manage inventory, control of stock and responsible management of waste
- Ensure accurate, high quality and on-time packing of fresh produce for wholesale and retail customers within budget
- Plan weekly delivery schedules using route planning software
About you:
- Warehouse and stock experience
- Comfortable leading and managing the schedules and resourcing of small teams
- Know your way around a spreadsheet
- Have (or will be happy to get) a manual drivers license and fork lift operation
- Great communication skills (excellent phone and text manners needed)
- Able to lift heavy boxes

The role is based at our Salisbury Warehouse, Monday to Thursday. Early mornings and some additional hours as required.
