Greatest Good is a social enterprise connecting conscious consumers with for-purpose organisations (social enterprises, charities and other NFPs, B Corps). We are a digital ecosystem offering a directory, community and marketplace that helps conscious consumers to find, engage with, and support for-purpose organisations tackling the social and environmental issues they care about.
Consumers search their values (impact areas, UN SDGs, organisation type and location) to find the organisations aligned with them. From there, they choose how they support them: via shopping, donating (DGR1 only), finding courses and events, paid and volunteer roles, and collaborations opportunities, to support these organisations in the way they choose.
We offer for-purpose organisations engaged consumers, a grants database that enables them to find relevant grants in seconds not hours, and a service provider directory of organisations providing specialist services to the for-purpose sector. It’s a one-stop ecosystem for consumers and for-purpose organisations alike.
We have two volunteer advisory boards: a strategic advisory board; and a marketing and business development advisory board. We are seeking members for both boards to help us take the organisation through initial growth and beyond, and to seek a greater range of diversity in various areas. Meetings are bi-monthly for 2 hours and the total time commitment is approximately 2 hours per month, including reading advisory board papers, completing action items and assisting with ad hoc advice as required.
