Partnerships Manager

As part of the Major Giver Team, the Major Giver Partnerships Manager will contribute to and execute a national strategy to engage and activate groups and networks across the local Christian landscape, toward a movement of compassionate generosity.

Partnerships Manager

We are looking for someone who can develop deep and engaging partnerships with a portfolio of new and existing major givers by actively generating and managing a pipeline of opportunities.

As part of the Major Giver Team, the Major Giver Partnerships Manager will contribute to and execute a national strategy to engage and activate groups
and networks across the local Christian landscape, toward a movement of compassionate generosity.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Anticipate, identify, and develop strategies to proactively balance the meeting of mission and partner needs;
  • Actively participate in Functional Planning for the team and broader Strategic Partnerships department, as required;
  • Initiate and develop a growth mindset with our partners that empower Partners to own and grow their relationship with Compassion;
  • Develop, monitor, and deliver work plans to achieve strategic goals;
  • Achieve financial and non-financial targets by developing and delivering impactful outcomes-focused donor engagement opportunities in alignment with national strategies and Compassions partnership methodology.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications include:

  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, including the ability to network with people of diverse ages and backgrounds;
  • Experience publicly representing an organisation;
  • In depth knowledge and networks within the local church context and/or philanthropic fundraising landscape
  • A demonstrated capacity to build the influence and impact of an organisation by developing and managing meaningful partnerships and networks with external stakeholders, specifically major givers;
  • Qualifications in Ministry, Sales, Marketing and/or Communications (Highly Desirable).
