The Management Committee of CuriousWorks is seeking to expand in number and expertise in line with our Strategic Plan 2024-2028 to ensure representation across our communities of focus.

The opportunity

CuriousWorks is seeking to appoint up to two new Management Committee members to join current members, diversifying and expanding our expertise and representation. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to help lead a respected South-West Sydney-based community arts organisation actively working to develop the potential of local artists and communities, and to shape a future culture that is vibrant, democratic, generative, and relevant for Australia and beyond. 

The new member/s will join the existing committee with deep expertise across all areas of operation, including governance, financial, legal, risk management, strategy, marketing and communications, fundraising and business development. 

Roles: Management Committee Member/s 

Type: Not-for-Profit & Community Arts Organisation. Incorporated Association. 

Annual Budget: Approximately $750k

Number of Salaried Staff:  6-10

Current Management Committee Size: 5-7

Commitment: 4-5Management Committee meetings per annum; 6-8 hours per month across meetings including preparation/reading time, committee actions, attendance at events and other responsibilities.

Payment: Voluntary

Practicing Artist

Community Arts & Cultural Development Expertise

Youth Projects Expertise
