SisterWorks is a partner of UN Women to deliver UN Women’ Second Chance Education pilot project in Australia. SisterWorks provides training programs to the most vulnerable women with little English of Refugee and migrant backgrounds.
This role is pivotal to the growth of SisterWorks Social Enterprise (SE), with the main objective to develop new corporate business in order to bolster revenue streams for the Social Enterprise team. This role reports directly to our Head of Corporate & Growth at SisterWorks and we are looking for someone dynamic with a marketing/ business background.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research and collect list of potential corporate companies we can partner with from diverse industries
- Distinguish which corporate industry will be best for each of our corporate services
- Distinguish key annual events for when to campaign our services to corporates
- Create a corporate outreach communications strategy
- Research corporate social procurement strategies/demands
- Analyse competitive social enterprise/corporate partnerships in market
- Identify new avenues to increase our visibility amongst social procurement buyers
- Share corporate networking events where we can build contacts, develop relationships and spread awareness about SisterWorks.
Desirable experience and qualifications:

- Knowledge of the migrant, refugee and asylum seeker and/or community sector in Australia
- Knowledge of the corporate sector/social procurement
- Tertiary degree in marketing/ business development is highly preferred
- Forward thinking and organised
- Creative thinker
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
