We seek someone with financial smarts to join the platform's Executive Team as a Treasurer. This will be a voluntary position, but we intend that the office holder will be paid an honorarium. Currently, this role is being covered by our CEO, Chair, and Company Secretary. As the platform grows, it will become increasingly important for a person with the role and expertise to look after our financial situation. The platform's mission is to support Australians with disability to establish and operate a money-generating endeavour which is successful, sustainable (in all senses of the word) and resilient. This endeavour may be a small business, a gig service, or a monetised hobby/craft. We strongly believe disability entrepreneurship should be part of the national conversation about disability workforce engagement. In addition to being about supporting individuals to pursue financial independence, this is about dignity, social engagement, and mental health.
