About You
- Ideally, you are currently seeking work placements or an internship; 3 months, from early September to late November, 2-3 days a week.
- Presently undertaking a course in Business, Sales, Marketing, Social Work, Community Development or Community Services experience and qualification would be highly regarded. (preferred not essential)
- If you are not a student, you may be interested in a sales or recruitment consultant role and interested to volunteer for a few months to get work experience.
You are responsible for
- Contacting members and sharing information via phone, email and social media.
- Sharing job opportunities via social media and email (info on job opportunities will be provided)
- Record participants’ information and development, maintaining data using our internal software
- Assist manager to organise appointments with candidates and employers
- Working well with internal and external stakeholders
- Other tasks when required
Key selection criteria; you must have
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Microsoft suite knowledge and the ability to learn a new software
- The ability to learn how to work well in a team
- Strong interest in assisting disadvantaged communities, in particular women from migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds
- Energy and enthusiasm
- Coachable and a quick learner
Desirable experience and qualifications
- Business, Marketing, Social Work, Community Development or Community Services experience and qualification would be highly regarded.
- IT skills in Google and Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn the database and maintain information.
- Bilingual or multilingual
- Career goals; Recruitment Consultant, Business Development or Sales or a relevant role.
