The Organisation:
The Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Community Living - you will:
- Ensure support to residents is delivered in a manner consistent with person-centred active support, positive behaviour support, and Nadrasca’s policies and procedures
- Ensure all staff are familiar with each resident’s support goals, and agreed plans are consistently implemented, monitored and reviewed with relevant internal and external staff
- Create strong collaborative working relationships with participants and their support networks and regularly seek feedback from participants, families, and relevant others
- Build and maintain an inclusive and welcoming environment
- Ensure residents are supported to lead healthy and active lives including access to health care, support services and the community
- Ensure that accurate and up to date health records are maintained for all residents
- Understand and follow internal and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding incident reporting requirements
- Assist the Manager, Community Living in conducting regular operational and functional audits, as required
- Participate in rostered on call duties

- possess an Advanced Diploma Community Sector Management or Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability) preferred, or, Certificate IV Disability and equivalent sector experience
- are experienced in leading a team and supervising the work of others
- possess a current Victorian Driver’s License
