The amazing Karen Golding is about to go on maternity leave. So, we are looking for expressions of interest from people with financial experience to serve in the role of Treasurer for our platform. This is currently a voluntary role, but we definitely intend to offer an honorarium in the near future. The role requires about an hour per week, with 30 minute meetings with our CEO each week. The timing for when the work is conducted is absolutely open for discussion.
Our preference is to appoint someone with lived experience or at least a family member of an Australian with disability.
The majority of the platform's team live with disability. The rest are family members, carers or old friends of Australians with disability.
