National Volunteer Week

This year’s theme: “Your Year to Volunteer”, a call to make 2026 a year of meaningful involvement in ways that work for you.

National Volunteer Week

This National Volunteer Week, we’re celebrating the incredible impact of volunteers across our communities, and this year’s theme: “Your Year to Volunteer”, a call to make 2026 a year of meaningful involvement in ways that work for you.

Volunteers play a vital role in building stronger, more inclusive and sustainable communities, a contribution also recognised globally through the 2026 UN International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development.

At Greatest Good, we’re encouraging everyone to find a way to give back that feels right for them. Whether it’s a few hours, a regular commitment, or sharing your skills, every action creates impact.

And it’s not just communities that benefit, volunteering can boost your own happiness, reduce stress, strengthen social connections, and build confidence and resilience.

A huge thank you to our incredible Greatest Good Advisory Board for their time, energy, and support throughout 2026. Alex Stoney, Emma Shaw, James Fitzjohn, Jamie Spark, Jonathan R., Kathy Joyce, Lexi Sydow, Yvonne Januschka. Your contribution truly makes a difference.

Learn more about our fantastic Advisory Board members, experienced leaders who generously volunteer their time and expertise with Greatest Good, helping guide our work towards meaningful, impactful change.

Give back. Feel great. Make 2026 your Year to Volunteer.
