$16.4 Million Invested in Developing Australia’s For-Purpose Leaders
This funding increases the program's reach, enabling an additional 120 CEOs to participate in immersive, fully-funded leadership experiences. The total investment now reaches $26.8 million across a decade, reinforcing commitment to strengthening leadership capacity in the social impact sector.
Evaluations show 100% of participants report improved leadership effectiveness, while 87% say SILA has enhanced organisational culture and capability.
Developed by the Centre for Social Impact and backed by major philanthropic partners (The Myer Foundation, Sidney Myer Fund, Snow Foundation, Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation, and Paul Ramsay Foundation) SILA is rolling out to the NSW–ACT cohort this year, with plans to expand to Victoria, Tasmania, and other regions through to 2031.
This funding builds a powerful network of systems-thinking leaders set to drive lasting social and environmental change across Australia.
