What is the Greatest Good platform?
We are a directory, community and marketplace that helps conscious consumers to find, engage and support for-purpose organisations.
That means we’re connecting you with social enterprises, charities, community groups, co-ops, other not for profits, and B Corps who are aligned with your values.
You choose the impact areas that are important to you and we’ll show you the for-purpose organisations who meet you values.
From there, you decide how you want to engage with and support them! You can shop, donate, and attend courses and events, and there are also opportunities for working, volunteering and collaborating.
Do I need an account to use the Greatest Good platform?
No and Yes! (It's free!)
You can search your values and find for-purpose organisations without an account, but you’ll need to create an account and be logged in to transact on the Greatest Good platform.
Another advantage of creating an account with the Greatest Good platform, is that you can select the values that are important to you in your account set up, helping us to seek out For-Purpose Organisations that meet your criteria.
What is the criteria for selecting for-purpose organisations to be on the Greatest Good platform?
We define a “For-Purpose Organisation” as an organisation that puts social and environmental impacts ahead of, or equal to, profit.
For–Purpose Organisations must be a social enterprise, registered charity or other not-for-profit, or a certified B Corp. This includes community groups, co-ops and a range of other purpose-led organisations.
We review each membership application before a for-purpose organisation is allowed onto the Greatest Good platform.
If we need to, we ask for more info and do some extra due diligence to make sure they meet our “for-purpose” criteria.
Can I donate to any organisation on the Greatest Good platform?
Only organisations with Deductible Gift Recipients (DGR1) endorsement status by the Australian Taxation Office can offer donations.
Unlike some other platforms, we do not charge commissions on donations.
Who do I contact for information about a product or service on the platform?
Please use the links on the relevant organisation’s profile page to contact them directly if you have any questions regarding a proposed order (you need to be logged in to do this).
What payment options do I have?
We use Stripe to process payments Debit and Credit Cards (MasterCard, Visa and American Express cards). This gives you (and us!) peace of mind when transacting on the platform, knowing your personal information is managed by a security focused specialist.
Different processing fees might apply based on the payment method you select.
Can I order items from different For-Purpose Organisation directly in the one order?
Yes, you can. Please check the shipping costs of your purchase, found in the shopping cart. We can’t combine delivery costs as the products come from different locations, but you are able to make one payment for the total of your purchase.
Is there a minimum order?
No, feel free to spend as little or as much as you want to support your favourite for purpose organisations.
Keep in mind, the more you spend, the greatest good you will be doing, increasing your impact and helping the organisations your are supporting do their greatest good!
My purchase hasn’t arrived, where do I go to find out more?
Log into your account and check your orders from the link to your purchase and to find the tracking information. If you need more information, contact the for-purpose organisation(s) to follow up.

Do you offer gift cards?
We don’t currently offer gift cards but will introduce them later in October 2024, so that individuals and organisations can purchase gift cards as gifts for friends and family, team member rewards, client gifts, etc.
