What is Greatest Good?
The Greatest Good platform is a directory, community, and marketplace, where conscious consumers can find, engage with, and transact with for-purpose organisations aligned with their values.
You can choose purely to have a directory listing to be found by consumers. However, you may also choose to use the Greatest Good platform functionality, where for–purpose organisations can sell their products, fixed-price services, and educational courses, and promote fundraising and other events, amongst other things.
What is a for-purpose organisation?
Our definition of a for-purpose organisation is one that puts social and environmental impacts ahead of, or equal with, profit.
For-purpose organisations on the Greatest Good platform include:
- social enterprises
- charities
- cooperatives
- community organisations
- other not-for-profit’s
- B Corps
When you register on the Greatest Good platform, we will seek additional information from you to verify that you meet our criteria.
Additional verification may be required for charities to confirm that they have the ATO’s Deductible Gift Recipiency status. Other information to support your registration may be required for verification purposes subject to the information you provide when setting up your account.
What products, services and experiences can I sell?
Almost anything, as long as you comply with the Terms and Conditions of the Greatest Good platform.
What are the fees?
Weoffer you the option of a monthly subscription fee or a discounted annual subscription fee.
The transaction fees charged by Stripe will depend on the type of organisation you are, as Stripe has very generously discounted its fees for charities and other not-for-profit organisations.

How do I sign up for an account?
Click here to subscribe. Once you complete all the subscription details, we will be in touch to obtain any required verification information or confirm that your account has been activated.
We will then be in contact to organise training and help you understand how to use the platform to ensure that we create the most opportunities for your for-purpose organisation.
Will someone help me set up on the Greatest Good platform?
We have a team that will help you set up your organisation on the Greatest Good platform, but you will be responsible for keeping your store up to date after the initial set-up.
