Philanthropy Australia, the nation’s peak body for philanthropy, is working to mobilise generosity with purpose and impact. In its fiftieth year, the organisation has unveiled a new strategy to guide the next chapter of giving in Australia.

Shaped through extensive conversations with members, peers and partners, the strategy sets out a clear and compelling vision to deepen the impact of generosity across the country. It is grounded in a commitment to strengthen collaboration, build capability, and unlock more effective ways of giving.

At its core, the strategy commits Philanthropy Australia to four key actions that will bolster the giving ecosystem:

• Convene, connect and engage members to foster a stronger, more collaborative community
• Amplify insights and knowledge exchange to enhance practice and effectiveness
• Influence the use of diverse resources to maximise social and environmental impact
• Advocate for policy outcomes that strengthen and enable the ecosystem

Together, these priorities position Philanthropy Australia to play a leading role in shaping a more connected, informed and impactful future for giving.
