Pitcher Partners Melbourne releases new Charitable Committee report highlighting over $1.25 million in community impact

Pitcher Partners Melbourne has released its latest Charitable Committee Report, showcasing a year of significant community contribution and collective effort toward creating meaningful social impact.

Guided by its “making business personal” philosophy, the firm, alongside its clients and partners, has united to support causes addressing the growing pressures faced by communities across Victoria.

In the past year, Pitcher Partners Melbourne contributed more than $1.258 million in value through pro bono and low bono professional services, volunteering, fundraising, and educational support — surpassing its annual giving target. The initiatives supported range from programs empowering women from migrant and refugee backgrounds through employment pathways to health initiatives for children and workplace inclusion opportunities for people with autism.

Employees have also actively engaged in volunteering activities and fundraising efforts, while the Pitcher Partners Charitable Fund provided scholarships for two students pursuing studies in accounting.

Looking ahead, the firm plans to continue deepening its community impact by working with charities that support those most affected by the cost-of-living crisis. A new scholarship with RMIT has also been announced, honouring the late David Thomson — a recently retired partner whose legacy continues to inspire the firm’s charitable efforts.

Pitcher Partners Melbourne acknowledges the collective contributions of its people, clients, and not-for-profit partners in achieving another impactful year.

The full report offers further insights into the causes supported and the individuals driving this important work.
