Indigenous leadership Scholarships
Supporting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples through culturally responsive leadership development does more than strengthen careers. It creates lasting positive change that flows through communities and reshapes systems affecting all First Peoples.
That's why First Peoples Leading are proudly partnering with the Paul Ramsay Foundation to offer scholarships across our 3 Indigenous leadership development programs: Next Gen, Impact, and Changemakers.
What’s on offer?
If your application is successful, they will cover 85% of your selected program's fees. You or your employer pays the remaining 15%:

Who can apply?
To apply, you must:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Be self-employed, a student or work for either:
An Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, a First Nations-led not-for-profit or a First Nations-owned and operated business.
Selection criteria

Alignment with the program: Whether your leadership journey is at a stage where participating in the selected program will provide significant benefits to your development.

Potential impact: The positive difference you are likely to make within your community or workplace as a result of your participation.

Financial need: The necessity for sponsorship, considering your organisation's capacity to cover the full cost of the program.

Commitment: Whether you commit to attending every session and completing all learning requirements
How to apply
Applications are open all year, with multiple program start dates throughout the year.
