About The Role
A Commercial Volunteer/Intern’s main responsibility is to assist our Head of Partnership & Growth with corporate branding, advertising and promotional efforts for SisterWorks and sub-brand, Crafted Culture. The daily duties include completing clerical and administrative tasks, building social media campaigns and content and joining weekly B2B meetings with the Head of Department to contribute ideas and providing valuable inputs.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Support SisterWorks corporate marketing campaign(s) planning, preparation and execution.
- Write copy for corporate social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
- Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels.
- Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions, including external business meetings.
- Assist in the management of SisterWorks website, e-commerce and SEO analytics.
- Take part in formal and informal training opportunities.
- Measure, analyse and report the results of marketing initiatives.
Your Background
To be successful, you will have the following skills & attributes:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, International Studies/ Development or related industry
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate writing skills in a clear and articulate manner
- Ability to demonstrate compelling content development skills across social media platforms (especially Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn)
- Ability to use Canva and/or Adobe Suite and website and electronic direct mail programs (similar to Wordpress, Mailchimp)
- Strong Microsoft office and computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable experience and qualifications:
- Knowledge of the migrant, refugee and asylum seeker and/or community sector in Australia
- Knowledge of reporting and analytics

- Desirable: Working knowledge of IT hardware and softwares
