Changes to Low-Income superannuation tax offset (LISTO)

The Federal Government has announced reforms to the low income superannuation tax offset (LISTO). From 1 July 2027, the LISTO will increase by $310 to $810 and the eligibility threshold will rise from $37,000 to $45,000.

The Treasurer has said women and young people under the age of 30 are among the biggest beneficiaries of the reforms. Treasury has released a factsheet on the changes.
