Productivity Commission's Interim Reports: Creating a more dynamic and resilient economy
The Productivity Commission released five interim reports in the lead up to the Government's Economic Reform Roundtable, held on 19 to 21 August 2025. The Productivity Commission was tasked by the Government to produce these reports as part of an inquiry into Australia's productivity performance. The five reports address their recommendations across the five focus areas:
- Creating a more resilient and dynamic economy, focussed on corporate tax reform and regulation
- Building a skilled and adaptable workforce
- Harnessing data and digital technologies
- Delivering quality care more efficiently
- Investing in cheaper, cleaner energy and the net zero transformation
