UN Global Compact Strategy 2026 - 2030

The UN Global Compact Strategy 2026–2030 is the United Nations' answer to business leadership that is bold, credible and grounded in action.
The strategy reflects both the scale of the challenges faced and the opportunities to be seized. With over 23,000 participating companies and a presence in more than 160 countries, the UN is determined to drive transformative impact globally and locally.
Their vision is to 'Mobilise Business to Transform Sustainable Business Ambition into Action at the Scale the World Demands and they aim to realise this through the reinforcement of three strategic focus areas.
  1. Equip companies to act
  2. Catalyse collective action
  3. Advance the business case

The strategy aims to highlight the integral need for businesses to engage in meaningful progress as a way of creating a competitive advantage and long-term value rather than a burden.
