Affordable Hampers and Gifts Under $75: Purpose-Driven Presents for Every Budget

Thursday 16th November is World Social Enterprise Day, so this week we are highlighting the social enterprises on the Greatest Good ecosystem.

So what is a social enterprise? There's no legal definition, but some of the more commonly accepted definitions in Australia (and the ones we use) include:
1. organisations that have a defined social, environmental or community purpose that is consistent with a public benefit, and
2. organisations that derive the majority of their income from trading activities (not grants and funding) and
3. organisations that use/reinvest their resources into their social, environmental or community purpose.

We think that social enterprises are pretty special organisations often tackling the hard work that government and business fail to address. So, keep an eye out for our social media posts this week highlighting all of these amazing organisations.
