Introduction to Stories For Impact - Workshop

Join the team from Digital Storytellers and learn how to craft and share stories for your project, cause or organisation. In this introductory workshop, we'll get hands-on with brainstorming story ideas, filming content with our smartphones and exploring the best tools for editing.

What You'll Learn:

• How to use our Story Canvas tool to brainstorm story ideas and develop an effective storytelling strategy
• Narrative frameworks
• How to use your phone or tablet to record good quality interviews, dynamic footage and audio
• Tools for planning your story
• Tools for editing short, sharp and shareable videos on your smartphone or tablet
• An understanding of how to approach impact storytelling with ethics at the forefront

Whether you're a social entrepreneur, working in comms at a nonprofit or just have a story you want to share with the world, you'll leave this workshop with the tools & skills to share your impact story with the world.
